Don't think. Just do what we tell you to do...

The Catholic church put out a list of things that should be priorities to help catholics decide on who they should vote for. On top of the list was anti-abortion and euthanasia. No big deal there. Those are both things that most catholics were going to make their top priorities anyway. According to the catholic church, if you don't vote the way they want you to, you should go find another religion to practice because you don't belong with them. Keeping with their narrow mindedness ways, 99.99 percent of catholics will say "duhhhhhhhhhhhh..........okayyyyy" and vote the way the catholic church tells them to vote. That's because they think the way the catholic church tells them to think. There are but a select few that actually use their own brains and make decisions for themselves after long internal deliberations on what's right and what's wrong.

Instead of paying attention to some child molesting priest that tries to tell THEM what's right by employing their brain washing techniques and telling them about how their path to true salvation in heaven so they can take long walks in the clouds with Jesus lies in doing what they say and not using their own brains, these people actually say "hey wait a minute..didn't you rape children for 30 years? So...why should I listen to you again? Oh because you think you're closer to god than I am? Yeah ok...peace out, padre."

Good for those guys.
So if it's "doctrine" that dictates that all catholics should vote a certain way, I think that the entire congregation of the catholic church should only get one vote. Or, catholics shouldn't be allowed to vote at all. Because a vote is supposed to be based on the opinion of each person voting, not an overall all encompassing view of what someone else tells you to do.
